Years ago, Layne’s world was turned upside down. She was a victim in a tragic bombing. After recovering from some serious injuries, Layne had tried to rebuild her life. But, life gave her lemons – lots of lemons. Layne’s immune system was incredibly run down and she contracted many diseases with horrible symptoms. She spent 5 years in a wheel chair without the use of her arms. When someone has that many lemons fall in their lap, it may seem easy to just lay down and give up. Not for Layne though!
Layne harnessed her inner strength and shifted her mindset to overcome her darkest days. Thankfully, she’s in remission now and recently sold her wheel chair – you go girl! What Layne learned throughout her years of pain and suffering is that you can make lots of lemonade when life gives you that many lemons. And, you can most certainly turn tragedy into triumph.
In this episode, Layne shares invaluable tips for anyone who is chronically ill. She also shares how people who are not chronically ill can best support a loved one who is. And the whole time, she radiates passion and positivity.
