#15 – Strong Is The New Skinny & Why Being A Carboholic Vegetarian Is On The Way Out

gfwguestpostimage4

Lisa Marie has always been an animal lover, and when she was 11 years old, she made a firm decision to become a vegetarian. At the same time, she struggled with the changes her body was going through and fell into the negative cycle of anorexia. Eventually, she realized she had become too thin, so she pulled herself out and moved on. It wasn’t the last time she’d deal with her eating disorder though. She ended up relapsing several times as a young adult when faced with stress. All the while, she continued to be a vegetarian. Unfortunately, there was not a lot of support for vegetarians at that time. So, like many others, Lisa Marie became a carboholic vegetarian who live on pastas and packaged foods.

Eventually, she was inspired by a nutritionist to shift her ways and take on a more plant-focused way of eating. Since that spark of inspiration, Lisa Marie has learned a lot about herself, increased her health tremendously, and learned how to keep from falling into the negative cycle of her anorexia. Now, she’s ready to share her years of wisdom with you so you can feel good about what you’re eating and who you are.
